Shapes and geometry — that's what I love about vector art. Vectors are a great tool for me to experiment with abstractions. On the one hand, I'm interested in finding ways to illustrate complex objects through very simple forms in order to create quick eye-catchers. On the other hand, it's fun to break things down into various parts and to reassemble them into a new, more cryptic, pattern-like image.
